Terms, kept short

This isn't a store, so there isn't much to agree to. But a few things ought to be said in plain writing.

What this site is

An independent planning guide, written by Bobby Ogle, about visiting the chairlift and pedestrian bridge in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The site is not affiliated with Gatlinburg SkyPark, Boyne Resorts, or any ticketing or hospitality company. Tickets are sold only on the official SkyPark site.

Information, not advice

I write what I know as a lift mechanic who's been on this ridge for a long time. It is honest; it is not professional advice. If you have a specific medical, mobility, or safety concern, please talk to the SkyPark office or your own doctor rather than relying on a page I wrote between shifts. Pricing and hours change — the official site is the authority on those.

No guarantees

I try to keep the pages accurate. I don't promise the park will be open on any given day. I don't promise the weather will cooperate. I don't promise a line length. Visit at your own planning risk.

Links to other sites

I link out to the official SkyPark site because that's where tickets live. I don't control those external pages and I'm not responsible for what they do with your information when you follow a link. Read their own policies when you get there.

Copyright

The writing on these pages is mine. The photos are either mine or sourced from public-domain / Creative Commons libraries with attribution noted where used. If you'd like to quote a paragraph or two with a link back, that's fine. If you'd like to republish a whole page, please write me first on the contact page.

Changes

If I materially change these terms, I'll put the date at the top. The current version was written in autumn 2026.

Everything else — I'll handle it like a neighbor would. Write me if something looks off and I'll fix it.
